Canyoningen, 25 maart 2025, Door Britt
Zo gezegd, zo gedaan.
_English version:_
So, we did it! Today, the whole team is going into Dragons Den. We start 100 meters higher than yesterday, hoping to discover even more beautiful spots. The first part is nice, but it doesn’t compare to the part we explored the day before. This creates a good build-up, lots of fun, and plenty of enjoyment. Since not everyone feels comfortable in a canyon with this much water, we add some extra distractions, fractions, and hooks for guided rappels. This way, no one’s day will be ruined, and everyone has a fantastic time.
Around 6 PM, we finish the canyon. Some rain is expected for the night, and tomorrow we plan to head back. To keep everything as dry as possible, we decide to pack up the camp and paddle back to the hut. For some, it’s a chance to recharge after all the impressions from the canyon, but everyone gets to work and pushes on. And it works out great. With a beautifully colored sky and mountains all around us, we start our journey. After inflating a few boats halfway through, everyone reaches the hut with a sense of accomplishment under a beautiful starry sky. What a day!
